Meet the Crew: Alex Pimwong

Alex Pimwong, Storyboarding artist for “Little t“

  1. What was your favorite scene to storyboard in our short film, and why did it stand out to you?

My favorite scene to board was anything with Mira. Loved her energy and having her interact with the other characters was a joy.

2. How did you balance the director's vision with your own creative ideas when developing the storyboard for our project?

Masha was a great collaborator when it came to projecting her vision and also listening to other ideas. It was such a rewarding experience to discuss story points while also being flexible with other possibilities that could make the story even stronger.

3. Can you share any tips for aspiring story artists who want to improve their storytelling and visualization skills?

Be hungry to always learn. Never feel that you’ve reached the end in your creative journey. There’s always something new to experience and it will broaden your artistic perspective.

4. What’s your favorite comfort food or desert?

Pretty much any warm cake with ice cream. I’m a simple man.
