Wishing Trees — A New Animated Short for Earth Day 2025

This Earth Day, I’m really excited to share the name of my next animated short: Wishing Trees.
This film grew out of something quiet—just me, walking through the park early in the morning, noticing how the trees seem to talk to each other when no one’s around. I know that sounds a little dreamy, but it stayed with me.
Then a few years ago, someone gifted me The Hidden Life of Trees by Peter Wohlleben, and it kind of confirmed what I had felt. Trees really do communicate. They help each other. They grieve. They heal. And they do it all so silently, so patiently.
That became the heart of this story.Wishing Trees is still in production, and I’ll be sharing more in the coming months—some behind-the-scenes shots, early stills, and maybe a few surprises.
